Family-run business Hylte Jakt & Lantman AB has focused on hunting, leisure, and agriculture since 1911. In 2018, the growth driven by e-commerce had increased over a long period of time and Verdane came in as owner at the same time as Maskinklippet, which sells equipment in forest and gardening, was acquired. Verdane's acquisition of Hylte and Maskinklippet became the starting point of HYMA Skog & Trädgård AB. Later, Duabhuset, which sells machinery and tools, as well as sport fishing shop Dogger, were acquired.
This meant the group outgrew the existing e-commerce solution where the frontend and e-commerce backend were closely interlinked and created problems for further development.
Combined with in-house expertise, the group were looking for a flexible and headless new e-commerce solution. Grebban was brought in as a partner and the choice regarding the e-commerce engine fell on Norce Commerce.
