Coming Soon: Single Sign-On for Norce Admin

CillanAs digital commerce grows more complex, identity and security management need to follow suit. We sat down with Cecilia Starke, Head of Customer Success, from the Norce team to talk about an upcoming addition to our service offering: Single Sign-On (SSO).

What is the new SSO add-on and why was it developed?

SSO – or Single Sign-On – is an authentication service that lets our customers log into Norce Admin using their existing company credentials. Instead of managing separate usernames and passwords, users can authenticate with the same login they already use for tools like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or any enterprise IdP (Identity Provider). The first supported provider will be Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD), with more to follow.

This isn’t just about convenience – SSO improves security, supports compliance goals, and makes IT management more efficient.

What difference will this make for customers in practice?

For IT administrators it means:

  • Faster onboarding and offboarding
  • Centralised security policy control
  • Reduced admin and risk

For end users:

  • Fewer passwords to manage
  • Seamless transitions between systems
  • Fewer support tickets

From a business perspective, SSO also brings:

  • Higher security maturity
  • Cost savings
  • Better compliance alignment

What are you most excited for users to experience?

That immediate "aha" moment – when users realise they don’t need to manage yet another login.
But I’m also excited about how well this will meet the security and governance expectations from our enterprise customers. And honestly, many mid-size companies are starting to demand this too.

Want to be among the first to activate SSO?

The service will be available soon – reach out to your Customer Success Manager if you're interested in early access or want to learn more!
