Mikael, what attracted you to the board position at Norce?
I’ve followed Norce for many years throughout my journey in ecommerce and have always seen the company as an exciting player with a strong product, especially in B2B, an area I firmly believe holds great future potential.
What experience do you bring that you believe will be particularly valuable for Norce going forward?
With over 20 years in the ecommerce industry and more than 10 years as a supplier, during which I founded Walley, I hope to contribute deep industry knowledge, especially in sales and product development.
How do you view the development of ecommerce, and Norce’s role within that ecosystem?
The ecommerce market is currently in a turbulent yet highly dynamic phase, with fierce competition and tightening margins. Success requires that retailers clearly differentiate themselves and focus on their strengths.
I believe Norce holds a unique position, offering solutions for players who don’t want to rely solely on standard platforms but instead aim to strengthen their competitiveness through more flexible systems. I find Norce’s B2B offering particularly compelling—I’ve worked extensively with B2B ecommerce myself and am convinced there are major opportunities to simplify and evolve that market for digital-first businesses.
What are you most looking forward to in your work with Norce’s team and board?
Norce is made up of a highly skilled and dedicated team of ecommerce experts, which creates strong conditions for success in a rapidly changing market.
I’m truly looking forward to working with the team and the board to continue developing Norce’s offering and contributing to the company’s growth journey. I’m especially eager to engage in initiatives and collaborations related to industry expertise, product development, and strategic direction.
