Sharper controls, clearer commerce
Spring brings sharper pricing controls, full checkout transaction traceability, and a platform modernisation milestone – Query API v3.0 takes the lead as v2.0 moves towards retirement. More visibility, less ambiguity.

Priority-based best price calculation
When multiple price lists apply to a basket, Norce Commerce now lets you define which one wins – through an explicit priority model rather than implicit ordering. This replaces ambiguity with intent. Price lists also gain sales area associations with this release, giving merchants more granular control over regional pricing behaviour. The best price list selection is now available in promotion effects too, both in Admin and Commerce Service, so promotions can participate in the same pricing logic.

New adapter: Voyado Loyalty
The Voyado Loyalty Adapter connects Voyado Engage with Norce Checkout, enabling merchants to surface a customer’s available promotions and reward vouchers during the purchase flow. When a promotion is applied, it automatically translates into a discount line item in the cart – so customers see their loyalty benefits reflected in the order total without any extra steps.

NCO Transaction Insights
Debugging a checkout issue used to mean piecing together logs from multiple places. Not anymore. Transaction Insights surfaces every interaction between Norce Checkout components and adapters directly in the admin under Events → Transactions – including a full call graph per order for end-to-end tracing. Transactions are also accessible directly from the Order Detail View, so you can go from an order to its full trace without leaving the page.

Query API v3.0 now leading – v2.0 deprecated
Query API v3.0 has been running in parallel since last year and is now the primary version. Query API v2.0 is officially deprecated with a clear sunset timeline: End of Support on 31 August 2026, (no further bug fixes), and End of Life on 31 October 2026. If you’re still on v2.0, now is the time to migrate.

Modernised Product Feed generally available
The new Product Feed is now enabled by default across all single-tenant production environments as of 16 April. Built on a more robust foundation, it delivers better performance, improved correctness, and richer product data – including reduced database load during feed execution. For most teams, this is a no-action milestone: the feed is simply faster and more reliable.

Price list management improvements
Navigating large price list setups in Admin gets easier with new filters for currency, type, sales area, parent, public, favorite, and virtual. What was previously a long unfiltered list is now scoped to exactly what you need. A related fix also resolves incorrect VAT calculation for price lists scoped to a specific sales area.

External discount code support
Baskets now carry external discount codes – for example, codes sourced from Voyado – enabling loyalty-driven discount flows from outside the Norce platform. A matching promotion requirement type for external discount codes has been added in Commerce Admin, so the entire flow from external code to applied promotion is configurable without custom integration work.
