Cleaner, smarter, stronger
March closes a chapter. With the retirement of Norce [Storm] complete and documentation fully consolidated at docs.norce.io, Norce Commerce enters spring in its cleanest shape yet. This release also adds native nShift shipping to Norce Checkout and delivers a modernised Management API for developers.

Norce [Storm] is retired
As of March 2026, Norce [Storm] has been shut down for good. All clients have completed their move to Norce Commerce – a significant milestone in the platform’s evolution. All Storm-era URLs are now inactive, and everything you need lives at Norce Commerce.

Documentation now consolidated
Two documentations move land in this release. The Norce Checkout documentation is now fully integrated into docs.norce.io – covering API references, storefront development, and adapter concepts in one place. The Jetshop (Flight and Store API) documentation has also moved, from flight.norce.io to docs.norce.io/flight.
As a bonus, the Norce Assistant is now trained on the NCO documentation, so Ask-AI and the MCP server can answer checkout questions directly.

Copy promotions between applications
Managing promotions across multiple applications just got a whole lot easier. You can now copy an existing promotion from one application to another seamlessly. This will save you time, reduce manual work and ensure consistency.

nShift shipping now native in Norce Checkout
Norce Checkout has a new native shipping integration: nShift. This adds a first-party carrier option without needing a custom adapter, making it easier to connect shipping for merchants already using nShift.

Modernised Management API
The Management API has been updated to a modernised version, now available at its new endpoint. The old version remains accessible at a temporary legacy path for teams that need time to migrate.

Checkout: upsell support for Walley and Qliro
Both Walley and Qliro now support post-purchase upsell offers in Norce Checkout – enabling merchants to present relevant add-ons after the initial transaction is complete.
Ingrid also gets a first version of split-shipment handling in this release, with shipping names now reflecting the selected shipping option.

January & February platform improvements
Beyond a cleaner platform, smarter shipping, and upgraded APIs the January and February releases include a steady stream of refinements across the platform:
-
Admin — Basket/Order and Pricelist: Smoother tab navigation across both areas
-
Admin — Category: Fixed an issue where category sort order couldn’t always be saved
-
Commerce Service: Orders and baskets now consistently reflect the paid amount. Improved error handling and best-price logic when updating quantities.
These updates focus on reliability and predictability — the kind of improvements that quietly make everyday work smoother.
